The team is dedicated to providing a full range of HR support services to all of our employees and developing processes and systems to enable effective and optimal HR service delivery. The responsibilities of this role are varied. In a typical day you might:Participate in an interview panel for a Gardener, Teacher, Chef, Marketing professional or any of our diverse positions,Review the Enterprise Agreement or Award to answer a query about terms and conditions,Collaborate internally on a policy or project under development,Plan an induction or other training session,Creatively develop a strategy to attract boarding staff,Complete a proposal to pitch a new idea that you have,Conduct a misconduct investigation,Prepare a return-to-work plan,Meet with a team member who would like to explore flexible work options or who is seeking advice on how to have a challenging conversation with a co-worker; and/orWork with a Manager to plan the follow up session for their team’s engagement and wellbeing survey resultsTo be considered for this role, you will have:Experience in a similar role, in a busy environmentA strong knowledge of industrial and employee relationsAn ability to lead and coordinate projectsA strong understanding of organisational development and talent managementExperience in developing policies and proceduresA willingness and ability to transition between operational and strategic HR tasks in a dynamic environmentA positive attitude and an authentic, passionate, resilient, courageous, curious and compassionate characterYour high level interpersonal and relationship management skills, customer focus and ability to fulfil multiple functions concurrently and effectively will enable your success in this position.In return, we offer an attractive package, plus a range of benefits such as access to the School’s Wellbeing Centre, professional development in the principles and practice of Positive Psychology and Education, and daily lunch provided during the School term.This role will appeal to those seeking an opportunity to broaden their career in all aspects of human resource management within a thriving and predominantly residential educational community.
