We’re looking for a dynamic and hands‑on Retail Manager to lead the operations of four diverse retail outlets, including two uniform shops, the print and book room, and the Timbertop Hike Store, as well as our sewing and laundry room. Immediate start, Tuesday to Friday – 30 hours per week for 48 working weeks.

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of end‑to‑end retail operations across four campuses. You’ll drive customer experience, oversee buying and merchandising, manage suppliers, hit financial targets, and lead a small, committed team.
What You’ll Do- Deliver warm, high‑quality service - often as the first touchpoint for new families.
- Make smart, sustainable purchasing decisions aligned with School values.
- Manage supplier selection, relationships, negotiations and stock levels.
- Coordinate book and stationery supply with the Academic Office.
- Source and purchase quality, fit‑for‑purpose products.
- Manage budgets, pricing and financial performance.
- Oversee sales and retail systems.
- Lead, train and develop a dedicated team.
- Work with the Uniform Committee to maintain and evolve a timeless school uniform.
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Extensive retail experience (multi‑site or store management ideal).
- Strong operational leadership and financial management capability.
- A proactive, people‑focused leadership style.
- Up‑to‑date retail knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements.
- Confident digital literacy and comfort with retail systems.
- A current Employee Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
