This exciting role is to support the smooth day-to-day academic operations at our Corio Campus. This includes managing short-term teacher absences, supporting academic events, overseeing classroom changes, and ensuring the School Calendar is accurate, current, and well-communicated. Please note this is an ongoing appointment, with work required during school term time only.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily teacher cover, ensuring all short-term absences are efficiently and appropriately staffed
Manage emergency absences, room changes and timetable adjustments with accuracy and urgency
Oversee the allocation and tracking of extras, standbys and CRT engagement
Support internal examinations, whole year level events, camps and other timetable-impacting activities
Maintain accurate records and provide staffing data to support reporting and forward planning
Lead the preparation, coordination and ongoing management of the Corio Campus calendar
Facilitate calendar meetings, manage event approvals and proactively prevent scheduling conflicts
Ensure accurate data entry across school systems (e.g. REACH, Synergetic)
Engagement and onboarding of CRT
Adhoc administration tasks as required.
About You:
Essential
Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within a busy environment
Exceptional organisational skills with outstanding attention to detail
Discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to work from 7:45am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday
Desirable
Experience in a school or educational setting
Working knowledge of Timetabling Solutions software (or equivalent)
A relevant tertiary qualification
